My children started by drawing the outline of their mom's face with black pastel on a square piece of white cardboard. They then set off searching through magazines with a pair of scissors to find their features. We nursery-dyed the background and finished them off by adding touches of material, ribbon and sequence. The cards were then laminated with a poem and the child's handwritten name on the back. I told them to get dad to help them make mom breakfast in bed while popping this on the tray (with a handpicked flower from the garden) as a sweet surprise. So much fun!The funniest thing is that these pictures look EXACTLY like their moms!
